Wesley Jones

Attorney

Wesley Jones earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona, cum laude, where he served as an Ares Writing Fellow and as President of Law Students United for Human Rights, an organization that he helped found in order to bring awareness to human-rights abuses taking place around the world and to provide a forum for developing potential strategies to address those abuses.  He earned his B.A. in French from Lake Superior State University, magna cum laude and with University Honors, where he served as president of the student government and student representative before the University’s Board of Trustees.

Wesley has served as a judicial law clerk, both at the Arizona Court of Appeals and in the civil division of the Pima County Superior Court.  During law school, he worked as a summer associate for the Udall Law Firm in Tucson, Arizona and as a law clerk for the Pima County Attorney’s Office, also in Tucson.  He also represented clients through the University of Arizona’s Immigration Law Clinic, where he was able to gain asylum for refugee clients who were fleeing human rights abuses in their country of origin. Wesley is currently completing his judicial clerkship with the Arizona Court of Appeals and will be joining our staff full time in January of 2012.
